About this Garden:
Fences, thick junipers and an inappropriate fir tree were removed from this garden to establish a link to the adjacent open space. Old decking and concrete were replaced with a new patio, deck and retaining walls allowing for dining and entertaining at the base of the natural rolling terrain. The new plant palette of native and Mediterranean grasses and perennials provides a seamless transition to the hills above. This garden won an “Award of Excellence” in the 2002/2003 Sunset Western Garden Design
