Suncrest Nurseries was founded in 1989 with the purchase of Leonard Coates Nurseries. Leonard Coates was a hundred-year-old nursery legendary for its work with California native plants, work that has been enthusiastically preserved and enhanced. Their love for horticulture is deeply rooted in their history. Truly they are more than a nursery. They grow beauty. With more than 3,000 varieties of perennials, natives, ferns, vines and bamboo they offer a decidedly offbeat plant collection aimed at enriching the California gardening experience.
